Schools
Daniel, (our Priest-in-Charge) has recently been to Reignhead School, Brookhouse Junior School and Beighton Nursery Infant Schools to take assemblies, and we have enjoyed some fantastic visits from both Brookhouse and Beighton Nursery Infants to the church at Christmas and Easter in the last couple of years. Daniel is a Governor at Reignhead Primary School and Nursery in Beighton.
Lifestyle Centre
We've done a number of successful and enjoyable joint events together including events for the Jubilee 2022, King Charles' Coronation 2023, and a more recent Harvest Pie and Pea supper in October 2023.
Ian Hudson, our Churchwarden, volunteers on the Community Advice Team. Several members of our congregation are members of Beighton Lifestyle Choir, who joined us for our Lessons and Carols service (Christmas 2023) and for a concert in May 2024, with Woodhouse Community Choir raising money for SODIT (Survivors of Depression in Transit).
There are lots of community groups and activities going on in the Lifestyle Centre from exercise classes to a dementia cafe so please check their website Lifestyle Centre, for more details!
