Giving to St Mary's
As we seek to love Beighton and beyond, everything we do at St Mary's is made possible through the generosity of our church family both through financial giving and gifted time, and through the generosity of visitors to the church. We believe that giving is part of our being disciples of Jesus and is an act of worship. We are so grateful to those who give to support the church.
If you would like to give financially, you can choose one of the options below:
- One Off Donation
- Bank Transfer – Regular Giving
- Contactless machine in the church building. We have a contactless card reader which is available to use when the church is open.
- Cash donations (in the collection plate) - in the church building.
Regular giving is particularly helpful for our monthly and annual budget planning.

Tower Fund
Currently we have a separate 'Tower Fund' which is raising money for building repairs to the ChurchTower which will include replacing the leadwork on the tower roof. The estimate for this work is a minimum of £50,000. Our cash target that we're aiming to raise is £10,000, which we will use to match against grants.
Regular giving via Bank transfer will go into our 'standard' funds which we use to for smaller building maintenance projects, lighting and heating, services, outreach activities, and our annual contribution to the Diocese of Sheffield, paying towards our Oversight Minister and other Diocesan support and resources.
If you'd like to give a specific donation to the 'Tower Fund' please talk to our Churchwardens.
Please do also support us in our fundraising events throughout the year!
